Author Awards and Honorarium Policy
The Journal of Medico Informatics (JoMI) is committed to recognizing and promoting high-quality research contributions from the global scientific community. As part of this commitment, the journal has established an Author Awards and Honorarium Program to acknowledge outstanding scholarly work that demonstrates exceptional scientific merit, innovation, and impact in the field of medico informatics and computational health sciences.
Award and Honorarium
Authors of selected outstanding papers will be awarded an honorarium of USD 100 as a token of recognition for their contribution to advancing scientific knowledge. This initiative is intended to encourage excellence in research, support global participation, and enhance the visibility of high-quality publications within the journal.
Eligibility Criteria
All articles published in JoMI are automatically considered for this award. Selection is based on multiple criteria, including but not limited to:
► Scientific originality and novelty
► Methodological rigor and technical quality
► Relevance and contribution to the field
► Clarity of presentation and scholarly impact
► Potential for advancing research and application
There is no separate application process required. All eligible articles will be reviewed periodically as part of the journal’s internal evaluation process.
Selection Process
The selection of award-winning papers is conducted exclusively by the Editorial Board, comprising subject experts and senior academics. The evaluation process is carried out in a fair, unbiased, and confidential manner, based solely on academic merit and quality of the published work. The final decision regarding the selection of awardees rests solely with the Editorial Board, and such decisions are considered final and binding.
Frequency and Announcement
Awards may be conferred periodically (e.g., per issue, quarterly, or annually), depending on the volume and quality of published articles. Selected authors will be formally notified by the journal, and award announcements may be published on the journal website and associated communication platforms.
Terms and Conditions
► The honorarium is granted as a recognition award and does not constitute payment for publication.
► The journal reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the award program at its discretion.
► In cases of multiple authors, the honorarium will be awarded to the corresponding author unless otherwise specified.
Commitment to Research Excellence
Through this initiative, JoMI aims to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and global collaboration in scientific research. The Author Awards and Honorarium Program reflect the journal’s dedication to recognizing impactful contributions and supporting the advancement of high-quality scholarly communication.
